Boomitra raises $4 million from Yara, Chevron Technology Ventures

Boomitra, a technological innovation start-up performing on removal of atmospheric carbon by working with synthetic intelligence in agriculture, reported it has raised $four million from Yara Advancement Ventures, the VC arm of fertiliser major Yara International. Chevron Technologies Ventures, Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo, and billionaire sustainability investors Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor are the other investors participated in the funding, it reported on Tuesday.

Boomitra has designed satellite and Artificial Intelligence-dependent technological innovation in excess of the past four several years to immediately evaluate soil carbon amounts without having working with sensors or soil sampling – this technological innovation allows soil carbon sequestration to be scaled on a world degree.
