The Indian Railways on Thursday cancelled a slew of Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto Express’ trains from Could nine, stating reduced patronisation and increasing coronavirus cases as the purpose guiding the choice.
According to Railway Ministry officials, the railways has decided to terminate the Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto, Vande Bharat, Jan Shatabdi Specific trains from Could nine until eventually further orders.
The to-and-fro products and services of eight Shatabdi Specific, two Rajdhani Specific, two Duronto Specific and a person Vande Bharat Specific are among the around 28 trains that have been cancelled “till further suggestions” by the Northern Railways.
Among the these are Shatabdis originating from Delhi to sites like Kalka, Habibganj, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Rajdhani trains from Delhi to Chennai, Bilaspur, Duronto trains to Jammu Tawi and Pune.
